Hi everyone, we’re back with an exciting new version announcement!

ElkQR V3 has been completely rebuilt from the ground up, and it’s not just about improvements under the hood — we’ve also added many new features and enhancements.

We’ve made ElkQR 100% GDPR compliant, SOC 2 code-level ready, completed internal security audits, and upgraded our encryption to AES-256 (bank-level security). All user data is stored with daily encrypted backups, giving you peace of mind that your information is safe and secure.

This major rebuild was done to improve speed, flexibility, and reliability, making the platform more stable and giving every user confidence in using ElkQR.

Now it’s time to see the improvements and features:

✅ Now everything is organized under individual workspaces, as many users requested, while your main account remains separate from the workspaces.

✅ Added custom alias workspace-specific — yes, you’re right, many users asked why their alias link ID showed 'already taken.' Previously, aliases were global (ElkQR-specific); now they are individual, workspace-specific.

✅ We added new analytics with advanced stats with peak scan times.

✅ Added more fields and options for each QR code type.

✅ Added Website URL Smart rules.

✅ Added advanced deep linking with custom app support.

✅ Added a real circular shape with many other cool shapes.

✅ Added new API V3 key generation with granular permissions.

✅ Added API V3 with Swagger, live interaction doc with clear API endpoints (last time couple of users faced a download issue in API, so it was technically difficult to do with our last API, needed real technical knowledge, but now straightforward, download is available on cloud, no technical issues).

✅ Added new booking page for appointment QR code type with webhooks support — yes, you asked, we delivered it. Many requests were about the booking page; options were basic only, so we made it Calendly-level.

✅ Added custom SMTP options — when you add your own SMTP settings, you can send emails from your company name for team invitations and all booking-related emails.

✅ Individual QR code, Custom Domains, and Individual folders — more granular permissions added for team members; team members cannot access workspace settings, only managed by team owners.

✅ Added a new feedback page similar to GoHighLevel — here, when a visitor gives 3 stars or less, asks for feedback; if 4 stars or above, shows public review links so they can post a review there. Also, you can enable webhooks here to get feedback details to your CRM or any third-party tools.

✅ Added File Manager with sharing and personal folder — means when you upload or move a file to the sharing folder, this folder’s files will be shared with your team; personal folder files will be seen only by you.

✅ Added bulk upload QR code editor options — if you find any issues or are missing anything, you can edit before processing, no need to upload it again.

✅ Added multi-language support for account and workspace level — added Spanish for now to test. Language translation is not an easy process for a SaaS; for a landing page or simple pages, it’s easy, but for dynamic content, it’s not. We added Spanish first to see how it goes, and gradually we will add more languages. This will take time since it needs to be done manually for accuracy.

✅ Added Support ticket system for account level — user can submit directly, no need to submit form via website or emails. All will be organized and easy to communicate. Also, with magic link access, if our support team needs it, you can enable magic link so they can access your individual workspace, not your account or other workspaces; the link expires in 24 hours and can be revoked anytime.

✅ Added detailed Account Activity page — every activity of your account you can see inside your account, useful for auditing or security purposes.

✅ Team cannot see your account billing, cannot see other workspace teams; only specific to the individual workspace.

✅ Improved all landing pages.

✅ Replaced the text editor with the block editor for the landing page builder.
