Mobile QR scans now hand off to the matching native app (Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Amazon, etc.) more reliably. Modern iOS and Android already know which app to open for a given web link, so we simplified our routing to let the OS take over — and removed a layer of custom rewriting that could sometimes send visitors to the wrong place.
What this means for you:
✅ Facebook page QRs now open the actual page when scanned, every time
✅ YouTube video QRs open straight to the video in the YouTube app
✅ LinkedIn profile QRs open straight to the profile
✅ Same behaviour across Amazon, Spotify, Maps, and 90+ other popular destinations
Existing QR codes are not affected — they keep working as before, just with cleaner app routing on phones. No reprint, no edit, no toggle on your side.
